ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a results-driven, innovative Developer to join our ecommerce website team, building out and transforming the ecommerce website backend. This role requires attention to details and high code quality to ensure a best-in-class ecommerce site.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

● Develop the backend of a high traffic ecommerce website

● Transform the backend from a Django codebase to API services

● Deliver code which is high quality, striving for zero bugs and able to scale globally

● Integrate with frontend, databases, 3rd party services and company data warehouses

WORK EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

● NodeJS/JavaScript/TypeScript coding expertise, including building out API services 

● Python coding knowledge

● Experience coding for serverless or Kubernetes architectures

● Experience with AWS services and using IaC

● Experience with test-driven development

● SDLC and security best practice experience

● AWS API Gateway + Lambda

● GitHub Actions experience

● Pulumi experience

● Able to adapt to a work schedule based on Pacific Time.
